He was predeceased by: his parents, L. A. Ellis and Mary Belle Ellis (Franks); and his brother Robert L. Ellis. He is survived by: his brother Claiborn W.; his sister-in-law Gloria Ellis; his niece Erin Sharp (Andy); his nephews, Jonathan Ellis and Mark Ellis; his great-nephew Steven; and his cousin Lee Jones.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to the "Prince of Peace" Easter Pageant at the Holy City of the Wichitas or to the Lawton First Baptist Church.
