He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Pfeiffer Hoppmann; his parents, Marion L. Hoppmann and Lillian Platte Hoppmann; and his sister Carol Harris. He is survived by: his children, Michael L. Hoppmann Jr. (Namhui K. Hoppmann) of Killeen, Texas and Diane Hoppmann of Lawton, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Christian Diaz of Lawton, Erik Robertson of Hutto, Aryanna T. Hoppmann of Killeen, Michael L. Hoppmann III of Lawton and Michelle L. Robertson of Denver, Colorado; and his siblings, Robert Hoppmann of Cary, David Hoppmann of Cary and Nancy Overstreet of Savannah, Georgia.. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
