He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Bert; his stepchildren, Rondell Dominique Scott, Marcus Jarrell Chavis, Natasha Renae Hood and Maritza Ivette Garnett; his mother Shirley Ann Kirkwood; and his siblings, Vincent Mitchell (Pat), Terrance Mitchell (Melva), Brandon Bert, Brenda Mitchell, Tracy Mitchell, Deanna Mitchell-Cooper, Danitra Bert Bussey (Randall), Tanisha Lee and Demarionna Kirkwood. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
