Melva Jean Brown Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melva Jean Brown (Lawton, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin M. Chaney and Helen I. Lipka (Flowers); her grandparents, George and Ruth Flowers; her husband Frank J. Brown; and her brother Mike Lipka.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Baldwin (Robert) of Dexter, Frankie Brown (Marla) of Springfield and Mark Brown (Cathy) of Norman; her brothers, Allen Lipka (Sara) of Lincoln and Jim Lipka (Anna Lee) of Katy; and her grandchildren, Kaysha Lowe of Decatur, Travis Brown (Samantha) of Decatur, Robert Lee Baldwin of Dexter, Breanna Brown of Edmond, Savannah Gowan of Norman and Jacob Gowan of Norman. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home (1502 NW Fort Sill Blvd, Lawton, OK 73507). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel (1502 NW Fort Sill Blvd, Lawton, OK 73507).
