She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Allen and Emma Alston; her husband Leroy Hunter; and her son Shelton Hunter Sr.. She is survived by: her daughter Belinda Johnson (Reginald); her daughter-in-law Theresa Hunter; her grandchildren, Kim Gary (Alvin), Shawn Jackson and Shelton Hunter Jr.; her great grandchildren, Desirey Fuentes, Marissa Fuentes and Ronjae Hunter; her sister-in-law Queen Esther Coleman; her grandchildren, Coco-Chanel, Taz, Bodhi and Jewel; and her cousin Baby. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
