She was predeceased by: her father Dale Walker; her sister Barbara Jean Walker; and her close friends, Jan Tisdale and Jimmy Parker. She is survived by: her husband Stanley; her daughter Christine Melby-Levinson; her son-in-law Alex; her grandchildren, Kaitlin Alonzo and Jake Levinson; her son Brian Melby; her close friend Patty Parker of Lawton; her mother Adele Walker; her siblings, Bettie Walker and Andy Walker of San Antonio; and her nieces, Audra Floyd and Hannah Walker of San Antonio.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send donations to Southwest Oklahoma Federal Credit Union where a scholarship fund in the name of Mary Jo Melby Nursing Scholarship has been set up.
