With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Helen Kunert of Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 20, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francis David Deeley (Hutz) and Mary Genevieve Deeley (Bowser); her former husband Richard Harry Johnston; her husband Ernest Richard Kunert (Dick); her children, Bret Johnston (Janet Ochoa Hoffman) of Buena Park, Bart Johnston (Barbara) of Lawton, Roberta May (Bill) of Laurel, Richard Kunert (Brenda) of Madison and Jim Kunert of Lawton; her son-in-law Bill Smith; her siblings, Nora Salveson (Leif) of Plano, Dolores Thuemmler (Ken) of Sheboygan, Eileen Michaels (Fred) of Sheboygan, Jeffrey Deeley (Kathy) of Hilbert and Randy Deeley (Donna) of Sheboygan; her sister-in-law Betsey Deeley; her grandsons, Adam (Alexia) of Geronimo and Timothy (Amber) of Aubrey; and her great grandchildren, Adria, Abigail, Matthew, Marcus and August.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, family and friends are asked to please wear masks and social distance whenever possible at the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Sarnelli House Orphanage in Mary's name.
