It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucy Rita Duran in Lawton, Oklahoma, born in Laguna, New Mexico, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alejo Duran and Adeliena; her son Stevan; her sisters, Juanita Rodriguez, Marcelina Alonzo and Genoveva Torres; her grandson Nathan Hernandez; and her children, Alexander Hernandez and Mary I. Corning.
She is survived by: her children, Diego Hernandez, Connie S. Garcia (Jose E.), Anthony Hernandez, Francisco Hernandez and Nina Hernandez; and her pet Pepe Le Pew. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, forty-three great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel (404 10th Ave S, Nampa, ID 83651). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
