She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Abernathy and Martha Abernathy. She is survived by: her daughter Alison Powell (Dan) of Lawton; her granddaughters, Danielle Powell and Delilah DelosSantos; her brothers, John Abernathy of Lawton and Charlie Abernathy (Mary) of Waurika; and her nephews, Chad Abernathy and Hank Abernathy. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and close friends.
