He is survived by: his sons, JaLonni Blackshear and James Anthony Curry; his siblings, James Huey Curry (Vanessa), E. Gail Addison (Jasper), Ralph Curry (Andrea) and Johnny Cleveland (Shaneka); his grandchildren, JaLonni Blackshear Jr., Malachi Blackshear, Walker Lee Curry and Xiomara Blackshear (ZiZi); his uncle Clarence Curry; his niece Barbara Darlene Mathis; his brother Leroy Cordes; and his goddaughter L'Oreal Scott. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
