She is survived by: her parents, Vivian Marie Brown (McKinney) and Carvin Brown Sr.; her son Darian McKinney; her grandson Darian McKinney Jr.; and her brothers, Christopher McKinney (YaSonda McKinney), Bakari McKinney, Carvin Brown Jr. (Kasinda Brown) and Jon Brown.
