He was predeceased by: his parents, Royce Hawkins and Beatrice Hawkins (Swanda); and his brother-in-law Kenneth Youngstedt. He is survived by: his significant other Leslie Lou Bolen; his daughters, Kena (Ryan Herring) and Keri (Justin Mace); his grandchildren, Hudson Herring, Garrett Herring, Ken Whittington, Bradley Whittington, Jetta Mace and McKena Palmer (Dace); his great grandchild Rookie; his siblings, Carolyn Youngstedt, Philip Hawkins (Carla) and Cindy Randolph (Bob); and his sister-in-law Brenda Bolen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
