He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Bowery and James Bowery; his siblings, Arnetta Bowery, Carol Davis, Linda Bowery and James Bowery; and his daughters, Michelle Tompkins and Nanette Bowery.
He is survived by: his sisters, Thelma Lou Dotson, Donna Aletta Santiago and Janet Sue McGhee; his sister-in-law Anna Lore Bowery; his children, Steven Bowery (Maggie) of Odessa, TX, Belinda Colby (Glenn) of Lawton, OK, Michael Tompkins of Lawton, OK, Mark Tompkins of Quakertown, PA, Johnnie Plummer of Lima, OH and Sherri Roberts (Charles) of Tipton, OK; his grandchildren, Austin Colby, Ashtin Colby, Anndie Moyer, Jessi Lynn Plummer, Pesamino Peni, Morgan Ennis, Kendall Roberts, Kamryn Roberts, Morgan Tompkins and Kaylie Hood; and his close friends, Shirley Cummings and Bob Clutter. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
