He is survived by: his wife Diane Self (Rowell); his son Chris Self of Apache; his stepchildren, Eric Dominguez, Marissa of Lawton, David Mendez, Nam of Australia, Edik Dominguez and Annie of Sparks; his grandchildren, Joseph, Ryland, Alyssa, Cameron, Aubrey, Eden, Aiden, Stella, Taylor and Ragen; his siblings, Donna Cummins, Glen of Elgin, Gayle Ferguson, Mike of Apache, Keith Self and Barbara of Fletcher; his sister-in-law Helen Self of Elgin; and also Amanda of Apache. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
