He is survived by: his wife Carrie Haywood Hunter; his sons, Timothy Graham and Jason R. Hunter (Sophia G. Hunter); his grandchildren, Jaden, Sania, Serenity and Jeremiah; his son Johnny Hunter, Jr.; his grandchildren, David Jay, Micah Daniel and Johnny Ray, Jr.; and his siblings, Roy Lee Johnson (Michelle), Freddie Thompson (Shauna), Gary Thompson, Kenneth Thompson (Leticia), Mary Hawley and Jenny McSwain. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
