She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny McClelland and Lillian McClelland (Williams); and her siblings, Lenice Littlejohn and Gary McClelland. She is survived by: her children, Debra Thompson, Evelyn, Bruce Schoenleber, Georgia, Edward, Jill Williams, Sharon Burse-Lee, Marcellus, Jacqueline Woodard, Stacye Burse-Smith and Lucrsia Betancourt; and her siblings, Ida Marie Colbert (Nehemiah), Belinda Lampkin and James McClelland (Debbie). She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; two Great Great Grandsons.
Following John's death she continued her role as a caregiver by working as a care provider for disabled adults through the Great Plains Improvement Foundation until her retirement.
