He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joel Stowe, Jr. and Evalyn Grace Stowe (Walker); his wife Mary Carol Barton; and his sister Kay Moore. He is survived by: his sons, John Joel Stowe, IV (Chris) and Ken Stowe; his grandsons, Matthew Stowe (Heather), Michael Stowe and Christopher Stowe; and his sisters, Louise Johns, Virginia, Betsy Stowe and Sue Khalifa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
