He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinz Maiwald and Edith Maiwald (Stellmacher); his sister Brigitte; and his grandson Chase. He is survived by: his children, Brigitte, Joachim and Lothar; his wife Wanda Faye Andes; his daughters, Alicia Wood and Jennifer Schoolfield (Terry); his grandchildren, Taylor Wood, Cody Schoolfield (Lexi) and Ryan Schoolfield; and his brother Lothar Maiwald (Gladys). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
