We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2023, at the age of 36, Jessica Lynn Metz of Lawton, Oklahoma, born in Iowa City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Lyle, Barbara Metz, Frank Wilson and Richard Lynk; and her uncles, Douglas Lynk and Duane Metz.
She is survived by: her parents, Jeffrey Metz and Pamela Metz (Lynk) of Iowa City; her husband Brandon Newman of Lawton, OK; her sister Anna Rhinehart (Shawn); her nieces and nephews, Gayle and Mae of North Liberty; her brother Kelly Metz (Becca); her nieces and nephews, Anthony, Penelope and Avery of Des Moines; and her grandmother Avellino Lynk of Coralville, IA. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
