She was predeceased by: her parents, Travis Ritter and Louise Ritter (Farthing); her husband James E. Cottingham, Sr.; and her sister June Moyers. She is survived by: her sons, Jim (Shirley Cottingham) and Lawton; her granddaughters, Erin (Jeff Roberts) and Jenna (Mike Woessner); her great grandchildren, Graham Roberts, Charlie Roberts, Layla Roberts and Rylee Woessner; her son Crue R. Cottingham; and her brother Gene T. Ritter.
