He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frederick and Ethel May Cummings (Morgan); his daughter Sandra Cummings; and his siblings, Goldie Besson, Silver Fisher, Carl Cummings, Robert Cummings and Bill Cummings.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherry; his sister Helen Drennon of Walters, OK; his grandson Michael Cummings of Richmond, TX; and his great grandchildren, Michelle Cummings and Bentley Cummings. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
