He is survived by: his pet Linda; his daughters, Sara, Karen and Marie; his grandchildren, Elliot, Henry, Sonja Sawicki, Mattie, Tate and Lucia; his wife Linda; and his brother John Clevering. He is also survived by dogs and cats and caring for their own beloved pets.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor at Heifer International (heifer.org), or Equal Justice Initiative (eji.org).
