He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Leslie and Lillie Ava Ray (Penland); his aunt Bertha Penland; and his siblings, Charlotte Ivey, Herbert Ray, Vernon Ray, Bill Ray and Dale Ray Sims.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ray; and his children, Jaquetta Jackie Ray of Oklahoma City, OK, Stanley Ray of Missouri, David Ray of Lawton, OK, Kenneth Ray of Lawton, OK and James Ray of Lawton, OK. He is also survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and other loving family members.
