She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster T. Doan and Glenn Doan (McCord); and her siblings, Gene, Harold Doan and Virginia Neumann.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Royce Stanton; her sons, Dr. Steve (Katherine Stanton) and J. R. (Angie Stanton); her grandchildren, Kirsta (Hunter Bowles), Kenna (Sam Melton), Hanna Stanton, Parker Stanton, Chandler Stanton, Sabrina Stanton, Sophia Stanton and Steven Stanton; and also, Kennedy Bowles and Vivienne Melton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
