He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Brown; his daughters, Chastity Witt and Angela Brown; and his proud namesake Gerald Brown Jr. Each. He is also survived by his eight grandkids and 14 great grandkids.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service (6210 NW Cache Rd, Lawton, OK 73505). A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Fort Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538).
