She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, August Simmering and Elsie Simmering (Horcheimer); her son Steven D.; her daughter-in-law Sherry Porter; her grandchildren, James Hayden Porter, William (Shena Navarrett), Chase (Misty Navarrett) and Adam Navarrett; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Simmering.
