She was predeceased by: her parents, John Scott and Hildegard Scott (Neher); her parents-in-law, Carl Thompson and Reta Thompson; her niece Pam Arnold (Elliff); and her sister-in-law Lois Thompson.

She is survived by: her husband Randy Thompson; her children, Teresa (Johnnie Scheid) of Lawton, OK, Rachel (Stanton Ward) of Lawton, OK, Joshua (Joni Thompson) of Oklahoma City, OK and Randi (Ryan Burk) of Lawton, OK; her siblings, Mary (Larry Amidan) of Ogden, John Allen (Sandra Scott) of Mobile, AL, Richard (Suzanne Scott) of Hastings, OK and Patricia Scott (Robert Sano) of Spanaway, WA; her grandchildren, Lauren (Matt Hillyer), Ryan Scheid (Morgan Grice), Weston Ward (Madison Ward), Morgan Cox (Josslyn Thompson), Jayli Thompson (Jemma Thompson) and Caden Burk (Carleigh Burk); her great grandchild Aubrielle Scheid; and her siblings-in-law, Iris Brown of Lawton, OK, Johnnie, Carolyn Thompson of Elk City, OK and Janell Headrick. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and special friends.

Viewing was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home (632 SW C Ave, Lawton, OK 73501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (501 SW B Ave, Lawton, OK 73501).
