He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Elling and Evelyn Whitehead Elling; his brothers, Jerry Wayne Elling, Edwin Gene Elling and Danny Lee Elling; and his brother-in-law Jimmy D. Anderson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rhonda Anderson of Indiahoma and Randy Elling of Elkhart; and his sisters-in-law, Karie Elling of Elkhart, Charlsie Elling of Cache, Carol Elling of Newark and Deonna Elling of Saginaw. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other close relatives and friends.
