She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie Lee and Sarah Ellie Brown (Bynum); her sisters, Roseva LaVerne Halphen and Betty Jo Biggs; her nephew Ricky Biggs; her great-niece Paula Lynn Fleetwood; and also Hallee Fleetwood.
She is survived by: her son David; her daughter-in-law Mona Kemp of Fletcher; her grandchildren, Jessica Arroyo, Kayla Kemp, Douglas Kemp, Bill Wilkerson, Andi Kemp and Eric Crow; her great grandchildren, Zack, Jay, Jaylon, Tristen, Rayden, Brealynn, Izaiah, Zoey, Machella, Sage, Rudy, Emily and Elliot; her brothers, Venson Lee Brown (Sam) and Lavonn Densil Brown (Norma); and her brother-in-law Charles Biggs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Elgin Elementary Public School Library or to the Cyril First Baptist Church.
