He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman John and Frances Voegtlin (Gifford); and his brother-in-law Jack Klimashko. He is survived by: his spouse Beate Zöllner; his children, David F. of Lawton, Oklahoma, Gina Voegtlin of Lawton, Oklahoma, Stacy of Lawton, Oklahoma and Scott Rains of Lawton, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Eric (Whitney Voegtlin), Taylor (Shane Blackford), Haley Catlett and Macy Zwaan (Chloe Rains); his great grandchildren, Haven, Kamden, Madison, Savannah, Carson and Shylan; and his sister Linda Klimashko. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
