He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janie; his sons, Danny Kyle McClung, Jr. (Susan) of Paradise Valley and Dale Gene McClung of Paradise Valley; his grandchildren, Brandon McClung of Edgewater Park, Brittany Wallace (Toj) of Virginia, Daniel McClung (Dolores) of Geronimo, Jeri Fox (Paul) of Fletcher, Dale "Chip" McClung, Jr. (Rose) of Paradise Valley, Katelin Mangum (Tyler) of Paradise Valley, Dusty James McClung (Jessica) of Sterling and Allison McClung of Paradise Valley; and his siblings, Johnny McClung (Lahoma) of Paradise Valley, Eugene McClung (Penny) of Paradise Valley and Barbara Sieger (Glenn) of Paradise Valley. He was also cherished by other nieces, nephews, cousins.
