She was predeceased by: her parents, Linda Louise Bryson and Jewel Heyward Carpenter. She is survived by: her husband Lorenzo R. Woodson of Elgin, OK; her sisters, Jewel Sae-Tiew of South Carolina, Shawanna Newman Carpenter of New York, Niya Newman Carpenter of New York and Jasmine Bryson of Washington; her stepfather Herbert Bryson of Washington; her parents-in-law, Gail L. Brown of Virginia and Charles C. Brown of Virginia; and her siblings-in-law, Quisha L. Woodson of Virginia and Lakeem E. Brown of Virginia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, family and friends.
