She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Powell and Doris Chappel; her aunt Annimae McPherson; and her sisters, Peggy Ann Williams and Louise Saunders.
She is survived by: her husband James Hanna Sr.; her children, Felicia Ross, James Hanna (Victoria), Christopher Hanna (Jennie), Nakisha Watkins (Gregory) and Sabrina Cole (Torrence); her brother Charlie Powell; and her nieces and nephews, Nakia Moment, Ursula Dalton, Deitra McRae, Donald McRae (Dobbs) and Paul Church.
In 2007, she joined the Mistletoe Chapter No. 77 Order of the Eastern Stars where she was able to continue to give back to others through charity work in our community.
