He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Laursen; and his parents, Chris Laursen and Etta Laursen. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristin Trindle (Richard) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Dr. Kerry Annette Laursen (Karl Greb) of Sugar Land, TX and Katrina Misley of Concord; and his grandchildren, Andrew Greb, Zoey Greb, Cora Misley and Isaac Misley.
