He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester H. Whitaker and Georgia Mae Whitaker (Arbuckle); and his siblings, Robert and Ruth "Bunny" Grice. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Kelly Filer (Steve), Laurie Espinoza (Thomas), Allen Whitaker (Jackie) and Connie Whitaker (Jason McDonald); his grandchildren, Chelsea Filer, Jeremy Crabtree (Emily), Taylor Espinoza, Talon Weaver (Kaleb), Jenny Ward (Brian), Adam Whittaker (Aubrey), Carley Welch (Mitchell), Caden Thomas (Allison) and Branden Thomas; his great grandchildren, Jaxyn, Gavin, Roczen, Asa Thomas, Blakely, Liam, Ava, Maximus, Walker and Hendricks; his brother Kenneth; his sister-in-law Donna Whitaker; and his sister Jeanette Brown.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel (1502 NW Fort Sill Blvd, Lawton, OK 73507).
