He was predeceased by: his daughter Jean Marie Heller; and his brothers, William Heller, John Heller, Jesse Heller and Harold Heller.
He is survived by: his spouses, Mary Francis Pruitt and Esther Hodges; his children, Jesse R. Heller and Lisa C. Gulley (Kevin); his stepchildren, Michael Hodges (Monique), Charles Hodges (Debra), John Hodges, Lacy Palmer, Marcella Carstensen Williams and Stella Arterberry Conway (Jim Conway); his sister Motie Ann Kuykendall; and his sisters-in-law, Nita Heller and Kay Heller.
