He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lawson and Portie Lawson; his siblings, Ila McCrary, Dovie Marshall, Geneva Matlock, Ellen Wheeler, Huey Horton, Jim Horton and Earl Horton; and his nephew Jerry Turrell.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Horton of Lawton, Billy Horton and Johnny Horton of Lawton; his brother Murl Horton of Colt; and the mother of his children Delores of Lawton.
