She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Yerby (McClain) and William Yerby; her husband Ruben "Shorty" Fisher; her son Eddie Dale Fisher; and her siblings, Arthur House, George House, Peggy Yerby and Hazel Agee.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Fisher (Susie) of Chattanooga, Oklahoma and Nita Knight of Lawton, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Lisa Eidson (Don), Lorie Ross, Tyson Fisher (Shona) and Taylor Fisher; her great grandchildren, Justin Edwards (Samantha), Aaron Eidson, Shelby Eidson, Sophia Eidson, Brandi King (Trace), Hollie Winslett and Savannah Fisher; and her great great grandchildren, Raylee Chumbley, Traylee Eidson and A. J. Eidson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no more that 10 people are allowed in the funeral home at one time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Chattanooga Cemetery Fund in memory of Betty Jo Fisher.
