She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert T. Akers and Gladys G. Akers. She is survived by: her husband Jim Townsend; her children, Robert of Lawton, Jewel Wills of Lawton and John (Traci) of Apache; and her sister Shirley (Eddie Grantham) of Jacksboro, Texas.. She is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cache Cemetery.
