It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Lahoma Wiggins in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Omar Benton Smith and Bessie Sally Smith (Long); her spouse J. B. Wiggins; and her grandsons, Tim Hathcock and William Hathcock.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Benny and Patti; her children, Peggy Hathcock (Wayne), Benny Wiggins (Susan) and Patti Cargill (John); her grandson James Wiggins; her children, Cathy Schumacher, Curt Hathcock, Jim Wiggins, Dana Carns, Georgia, Amy Scott, Josh Cargill and Mark Yaggie; and her cousins, Mildred Crowley, Linda Dawdy, Frances Bonds and Jack Johnson. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
