With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benny Turner (Lawton, Oklahoma), born in Holliday, Texas, who passed away on January 20, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Lee and Helen Turner (Prenderville); his spouse Obera; his sister Betty Jean; and his siblings-in-law, Delmer and Jackie.
He is survived by: his daughter Janina VanNatta of Lawton, OK; his sister Gwendolyn Owens of Burleson, TX; his siblings-in-law, Sam and Eddi Adams of South Pasadena, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Janice Childers, Ron of Pipe Creek, TX, Debbie Breeding of Burleson, TX, Sierra Uberig, Chris of Wichita Falls, TX, Gary Metz, Terri of Crowley, TX and Michael Rhodes of Durant, OK. He is also survived by other relatives and beloved friends.
