It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alva Upton in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, N. C. Haney and Murlean Haney (Cooper); her siblings, Roy Haney, Raymond Haney, Jake Haney, Kenneth Haney, Matthew Haney, Linda Gaye Haney, Allie Faye Tallant and Joyce Sewell; and her granddaughter Hope Upton.
She is survived by: her husband Leslie Upton; her children, Darrell (Amora Upton), Shelly (Robert Keck) and David Upton of Lawton, OK; her siblings, Dennis (Lynda Haney), Kelly (Glenn Wahahrockah), Kimberly (James Hatfield), Billie (Bill Rogers) and Bobbie (Tommy Fite); her grandchildren, Jessica Bailey, Buddy (Jandi Upton), Heather Keck, Alex (Loli Keck), Avry Keck, Austin Upton, Alysa Upton, Alayna Upton, Drake Upton, Savannah Upton and Sydney Upton; and her great grandchild Amzie Upton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
