He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Zimmerman and Ester Mae Zimmerman (Romberger); his former wife Lieselotte Zimmerman; and his brothers, James Zimmerman and Kenneth Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Ivalou Zimmerman; his son Clifton Zimmerman of Lawton; his siblings, John Zimmerman, Muriel Bettinger and Betty Starnowski; and his grandson James Michael Zimmerman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
