Alan Maurice Combs Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2023, at the age of 72, Alan Maurice Combs of Lawton, Oklahoma, born in Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leon C. Combs, Sr. and Sylvia Combs (Williams); his brother Leon Jr.; his nephew Jayson Combs; and also Gabrielle Ford (Gay). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In later years, Al served as caregiver to his father who suffered from Alzheimer's.
Al became friends with his next-door neighbor, Gabrielle (Gay) Ford and they were soon married on December 25, 1991 becoming a part of her large family.
