It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Elsie Miner of Laverne, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Sinclair Hubbard and Gladys Hubbard (Morris); her daughter Nina Charlene Miner; and her siblings, Tom Hubbard, Lester Hubbard, Mabel Foster and Martha Anderson.

She is survived by: her former husband Bill Miner; her daughter Violet; her husband Gas; her sons, Wendell Miner (Pat) of Beaver, LaVerne Miner (Wanda) of Perkins and Bill Miner of Perkins; and her grandchildren, Kelin Miner (Vicki), Kevin Miner (LeeAnn), Kip Miner (Tiffany), Talon Miner (Kari), Londyn Wilson (Justin), Brandi Napier (Matt) and Autumn Lumpkin. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

“I will miss seeing Violet. She was so much fun on our bowling trips. I remember one time she was going to the bathroom and she didn't go to the one we thought so we were in the bathroom looking under the stalls. We were kinda in a panic and when she showed up she thought it was funny. Prayers for her family during this difficult time. Love Becky Peebles”
