He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern McDowell and Verda Della Allen (Hart); his wife Naomi Faye McAlister; his siblings, Loren, Bradford (Brownie), Melvin (Mel) and Lorraine Zirkle; and his great grandchild Brayden Little.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Baker (Richard) of Collinsville and Susan Whitehead (Bruce) of Owasso; his grandchildren, Marty Baker (Dana) of Stillwater, Melanie VanBeber (Paul) of Collinsville, Ryan Whitehead (Ashley) of Dallas, Texas and Matt Whitehead (Kerry) of Piedmont; and his great grandchildren, Rachel Brown of Stillwater, Morgan Baker of Stillwater and Jake VanBeber of Boonville.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
