He was predeceased by: his sons, Alejandro Contreras and Daniel Contreras. He is survived by: his parents, César Contreras and Zoraida Noguera of Weston; his significant other Linda Castro; his significant other's child Andrés Payá of Langston; and his siblings, César Contreras (Faviola) of Caracas, Alberto Contreras (Rebeca) of Caracas and Zoraida Contreras (Luis) of Weston, Florida.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
