He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilber Lorimer and Martha Lorimer; and his sister Marjorie Drost. He is survived by: his significant other Betty Lorimer; his children, Alvin Douglas Lorimer of Sheridan, Cherie Hurt (Ron) and Brenda Gresham (Max) of Joplin; and his grandson John.
In his honor the family requests that memorials be given to Sanctuary of Hope, with the John Hagee Ministries with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
