He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tackett and Maryann Elizabeth Tackett (Tucker); his wife Isabel Jones; his granddaughter Angel McCord; and his siblings, Floyd Tackett, Jerry Tacket, John Tackett, Bill Tackett, Pansey Barns, Kitt Campbell and Betty Jean Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Kyle Tackett of Broken Arrow, Kelly Jean Tackett (Trenton Michael Simrell) of Lamar and Patrick Kane Tackett (Jessica) of Lamar; his grandchildren, Cross Tackett, Madilyn McCord, Laura McCord, Morgan McCord, Michael Simrell and Azlyn Simrell; and his siblings, Fred Tackett, Lee Tackett, Ida Penny and Joanne McCord. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
