She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johnson and Tena Johnson (Frey); her husband Virgil Brakhage; her stepmother Elva Johnson; and her sister Mildred Ratzlaff.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Tydings (David) and Gaylon Brakhage (Teresa); her grandchildren, Emily, Kevin Palmer, Chris Tydings, Garrett Brakhage, Courtney, Chase Ratzlaff, Lauren, Calvin Cross, Colton, Kallie Brakhage and Reagan Brakhage; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Carson, Becker and Samuel; and her brother-in-law Robert Ratzlaff. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Lahoma with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
